چکیده
Relay cropping is a method that increases total productivity through maximum utilization of resources. In this study, we planned field experiment, which was conducted at the Regional Agricultural Research Station, Ishwardi, Pabna during 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 to find out most suitable way relaying mukhikachu (MU) with hybrid maize get benefit. Seven treatments: T1= silking stage (100 DAS), T2 = blister (110 T3 milk (120 T4 dough (130 T5 dent (140 T6 Sole maize, T7 mukhikachu, were compared in study. It found among treatments (relay sole stand), there no significant difference terms yield attributes both base (maize) relay crop (mukhikachu). entire treatment, yielded 10.54-11.30 t ha-1 results 3.28-3.66 MJ m-2day-1 light energy interception 2.68-2.84 LAI DAS) 1534.63-1592.69 g m-2 TDM (140DAS). The 26.88-27.28 system. Maize equivalent (MEY) BCR ranged from 28.48-29.18 2.33-2.39, respectively, amongst treatments. land ratio (LER) treatment produced almost double (1.934-1.996) crops. Farmers can benefit by adopting technology when they grow long-duration crops, lead improved system productivity.

An evaluation of yield in "intercropping of maize and potato"
Abstract To find out how maize and potato can grow and develop in an intercropping system rather than each grown alone in a sole cropping system the following factorial experiment was performend in the frame-work of a randomized complete block three replications in the experimental farm of the faculty of agriculture, Zanjan University in year 2004. Different potato to maize ratios of (1:0), i...

متن کاملGenetic Diversification and Dispersal of Taro (Colocasia esculenta (L.) Schott)
Taro (Colocasia esculenta (L.) Schott) is widely distributed in tropical and sub-tropical areas. However, its origin, diversification and dispersal remain unclear. While taro genetic diversity has been documented at the country and regional levels in Asia and the Pacific, few reports are available from Americas and Africa where it has been introduced through human migrations. We used eleven mic...
